Photo Metadata Stripper
Remove EXIF metadata (location, device, timestamps) from photos before posting.
Runs 100% in your browser — nothing leaves your device
What gets removed?
Photos from your phone carry hidden EXIF metadata — often the exact GPS location, the device model and the time it was taken. Re-encoding the image here produces a clean copy with only the pixels, so you can post to Carousell, Telegram or property listings without leaking where you live.
Images are re-encoded via an in-browser canvas, which drops all EXIF/metadata blocks. Slight re-compression applies to JPEGs (quality 92).
